Before I moved to the wide open spaces of lovely Yorkshire I lived a very different life... fast paced, highly stressed, working long hours, and a daily 4hr commute. On one of these commutes I read this opening line to a chapter in 'Diary' by the fabulous author Chuck Palahniuk, needless to say I loved it. So here it is, in poster form. This will be sitting proudly above my mac to raise a smile at old memories and I'm quite sure there are a few of you out there who will be in the same boat!
This illustration is produced using silver pen on GF Smith Citrene colorplan 270gsm card. It measures approx 26cm x 35cm (10.2in x 13.8in). Colorplan is made from 100% virgin ECF fibres. ECF fibre is an acid-free and chlorine-free product, it also has FSC accreditation. I have to say that the photos really don't do it justice as it's hard to get the silver to stand out when I take the photos - I promise you that to the human eye the silver stands out perfectly :)
